MADISON — The Country School announces students who have earned academic honors for the second trimester. Those in grades six through eight who have demonstrat­ed particular­ly strong effort in all their courses receive special mention at the end of each term.

The criteria is a minimum of four effort grades of 4 or better, two of which must come from English, math, history, science, and foreign language, with nothing below a 3. The criteria for the academic honors list is a minimum of four grades of A- or better with no grade below a B. Two of the four grades of A- or better must come from the above courses.

WORCESTER, Mass. — The College of the Holy Cross congratula­tes students who were named to the spring 2021 dean’s list.

They are: Allison Molski of Middletown, majoring in chemistry; Amanda Wilderman of Westbrook, majoring in political science; Joseph Reilly of Cromwell, majoring in political science; Sophie Cassarino of Durham, majoring in classics; William Lallier of Chester, undeclared; and Riley Millburne of Westbrook, undeclared.

Oklahoma State University

STILLWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State University awarded degrees to 4,047 students this past spring, including Kerry Clark of Middletown, who earned a master of arts degree in philosophy.

Wentworth Institute of Technology

BOSTON — The following local students made the dean’s list at Wentworth Institute of Technology for the spring 2021 semester: Griffin Ellis Robinson of Higganum, Aidan G. Korper of Killingwor­th and David Sebastian Gonthier of Middletown.

Trinity College

HARTFORD — The following local students graduated from Trinity College May 21: Skye Angela Joy-Yap Gasataya of Middletown earned a bachelor of science degree in psychology; and Ryan Lau of Middletown earned a bachelor of arts, summa cum laude, in philosophy.

Coastal Carolina University

CONWAY, S.C. — Coastal Carolina University recognized nearly 1,200 students during its in-person spring 2021 commenceme­nt ceremonies May 7 and 8. Among the graduates was Jack Bugg, a marketing major who lives in Clinton.

Quinnipiac University

HAMDEN — The following area students were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2021 semester at Quinnipiac University:

To qualify, students must earn a grade-point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than C. Full-time students must complete at least 14 credits in a semester, with at least 12 credits that have been graded on a letter grade basis to be eligible. Part-time students must complete at least six credits during a semester.
