Vox Church celebrates 10 years at Westville Music Bowl gathering
NEW HAVEN — The Westville Music Bowl, which has been the site of multiple outdoor concerts over the past months, was the scene of a very different gathering recently.
Vox Church, celebrating its 10-year anniversary, held a church service at the venue recently.
And it wasn’t just any church service: the special outdoor event featured the church’s ten congregations from across Connecticut and Massachusetts for a united service with nearly 2,500 attendees, according to a release.
“I am so excited about what is happening right now in this community,” Vox Church Lead Pastor Justin Kendrick said in the release. “God is doing a new thing and it begins today.”
