Marion D. Bertolini

Marion D. Bertolini, 86, of West Haven, CT passed away peacefully at her loving son and daughterin-law’s home in Waxhaw, North Carolina. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Bertolini. Mother of George (Jennifer) Doms. Loving supporter of Robert’s children: Elizabeth (Jim) Brown, Robert A. (Laura) Bertolini Jr., James (Dorothy) Bertolini Sr., and proud and loving grandmother of Fredrick Doms, Nicholas Doms, Gregory Doms, and Mary Doms, Ryan (Kara) and Matthew Brown, Meghan (Eugene) Julien, Robert A. (Erika) Bertolini III, Kristin and Danielle Bertolini, James Bertolini Jr., and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bertolini was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Natalina Guarniere. She retired from the telephone company after being there for over 40 years. Marion enjoyed volunteering with the Pioneers, St. Bernard School (New Haven, CT), and her local church. She adored her cats and was friends to every stray cat and neighborhood dog. She would walk around the neighborhood with dog treats and cat food for the strays. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Cemetery in West Haven, CT.
