Orchard House in Branford honored for 40 years of service
BRANFORD — The Orchard House Medical Adult Day Center recently was presented with a 40th anniversary proclamation marking its years of service to the Shoreline community, officials with the organization said.
The honor was presented by state Sen. Christine Cohen and Rep. Robin Comey, both D-Branford, to Orchard House founding board member Phil Giuliani, Executive Director Mary-Margaret Mandel and the staff/members of the Orchard House for their many years of service, according to a release.
The nonprofit Orchard House “has provided shoreline families with an outstanding alternative to assisted living and long-term care facilities since 1981,” the release said.
