GAMES TO WATCH

Pomperaug at Weston, Thursday, 7 p.m.: Weston has posted shutouts in its last five games. The two teams have combined for one loss and that was Weston against St. Joseph. Both teams will be in the SWC playoffs for sure.

Cheshire vs. Mercy at Xavier, Friday, 6:30 p.m.: These two rivals met for the SCC Division A championsh­ip last November, won by Mercy 1-0. Mercy goalkeeper Melina Ford is back while the Rams adjust to life without junior forward Gabby Tirado, who is out for the season after suffing a broken leg last week.
