Asking for vote

My name is John Ireland and I am asking for your vote on Nov. 2 for a seat on the Cromwell Board of Finance. My wife Christina and I have lived in Cromwell for over eight years and love raising our two children here.

Connecticut has been my home for most of my life. My wife and I are both graduates from the University of Connecticut in Storrs. Our two children are involved in youth sports in town, and both my wife and I have enjoyed volunteering as coaches for their teams.

Since joining the Board of Finance in November 2019, I and am truly proud of what we have accomplished. We have kept our mill rate flat while still growing our revenue base and attracting more businesses to come into town. I want to continue serving my community and representing the taxpayers to ensure that the town continues to sustain long-term financial health. Thank you very much.
