Union supports reelection

-

The employees of the town of Cromwell Public Works Department, members of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 30 support the reelection of Al Waters and James Demetriades to the Town Council.

Both Al and James bring years of experience and dedicated service to the town. Al as a lifelong resident who has participated in Cromwell government on both the Board of Selectmen and the council for over 20 years, and James as a resident, attorney and tireless volunteer in the community.

Our group of town workers, many of whom are residents of Cromwell, have a debt of gratitude to both councilors for the fairness and reasonableness each has shown every time we have gone before the council requesting assistance addressing issues in our workplace. Each councilor has taken the time to thoroughly understand our issues, and after careful consideration advocated for reasonable resolutions that promote the interests of the residents by avoiding unnecessary waste of town resources. Simply put, like us, Al and James do the right thing, because it is the right thing to do.

We encourage you to join us on Nov. 2 in voting to continue with Al Waters and James Demetriades on the Cromwell Town Council. Fraternally,

Danny Ouellette, Wayne Pierson and Gary Brennan and on behalf of IUOE

Local 30 Cromwell
