GAMES TO WATCH

Greenwich at Hamden, Monday, noon: Hamden has won four in a row, and the Cardinals have won two in a row.

Bishop Hendricken at Notre Dame-West Haven (Bennett), Monday, 2 p.m.: Hendricken’s second game in Connecticut got called off a week ago because of the threat of bad weather. Let’s hope the Hawks and Green Knights get to play this one.

Xavier at Darien (Darien Ice), Monday, 4:30 p.m.: Xavier has won four in a row in-state after a 2-2 start, but this will be the biggest test since that 2-2 start.

St. Joseph at Trumbull (Rinks at Shelton), Monday, 7 p.m.: The Coach Eddy Cup honors the late Eddy LeMaire. Two teams playing well, too: Trumbull’s among the top teams in D-II, and St. Joseph, though 1-6, lost those six games by a combined nine goals.

Ridgefield at Notre DameWest Haven (Bennett), Wednesday, 6 p.m.: Ridgefield opened the year against then-No. 1 Fairfield Prep: overtime (the Jesuits won). Ridgefield faced then-No. 1 New Canaan last weekend: overtime (tie). Hey, guess what the Green Knights are ranked? Plan for a few extra minutes, just in case.
