Harry Tavella, Ludlowe: Tavella struck out 13 over 6.2 innings, picking up the win as the Falcons beat McMahon 8-2.

Tristan Pearl, New Canaan: Pearl threw a complete game four-hitter against Greenwich in a 2-0 victory.

Devin Kulas, St. Paul: The junior second baseman in four games last week hit .818 with a home run, triple, two doubles, 4 RBIs and 8 runs including a game against Northwest Catholic at Dunkin Donuts Park where he went 3-for-4 with triple and 2 doubles

Matt Bucciero, Ridgefield: Bucciero was 6-for-9 with 4 home runs last week in four games as the Tigers went 4-0.

Kevin Milewski, NDWH: The junior went 6-for-7 with 6 RBIs, 2 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run and 6 runs scored last week.

Mike Poncini, RHAM: Poncini drove in four runs as RHAM defeated East Catholic 5-4.

Nico Seitaridis, Westhill: Seitaridis was 3-for-5 with a home run and a double, 3 runs scored and 4 RBIs in the Vikings’ 16-3 win over Norwalk in a rematch of last year’s Class LL title game.

Henry Bugai, Coginchaug: The sophomore threw a no-hitter as part of an 11-1 win against Portland in the Shoreline Conference.

Ryan Monti, Woodland: Monti was 2-for-2 with a 3-run home run and 3 runs scored while also improving to 4-0 on the mound as Woodland topped Seymour 9-4.

Mike Buccaro, Guilford: Buccaro was 3-for-5 with a triple and four RBIs in a loss to ND-WH.

GAMES TO WATCH

No. 2 Warde at No. 9 Staples, Tuesday, 4 p.m.: If it seems like two top-10 teams face each other every week in the FCIAC, it is because they do. Add this to the list of awesome matchups.

No. 5 Newington at Southingto­n, Wed. 3:45 p.m.: The Nor’easters blow into Southingto­n for the biggest test of their unbeaten record this season.

Holy Cross at No. 4 St. Paul, Wednesday, 4 p.m.: Unbeaten St. Paul has been running all over NVL opponents but when their biggest rivals come to town, records do not mean much, though Holy Cross is 9-4.

Fitch at Hand, Wednesday, 4 p.m.:

Awesome ECC-SCC crossover game that usually does not take place in May but here we are. Both teams have been in the GameTimeCT Top 10 at points this season.

Coventry at Somers, Thursday, 4 p.m.: The top two teams in the NCCC meet on back-to-back days with the series moving to Coventry Friday afternoon. The Patriots have won eight straight games entering the week.

Bethel at Nonnewaug, Friday, 3:45 p.m.: Nonnewaug has not lost but ventures outside the Berkshire league for two games this week. First against Holy Cross from the NVL and then against Bethel (8-4) from the SWC.

Ludlowe at Westhill, Friday 4 p.m.: Ludlowe sits at 9-2 entering the week but three of its next four games are against No. 3 Ridgefield, Westhill and No. 2 Warde.

Sheehan at No. 8 Xavier, Friday, 7 p.m.: Sheehan has yet to beat a top team in the SCC. They get a second crack at Xavier, which beat them 12-3 earlier in the season.
