Business Association seeking swing bridge survey replies
EAST HADDAM — The East Haddam Business Association is continuing to accept submissions for its swing bridge impact survey.
This survey of businesses in the Haddams and surrounding towns centers on the estimated financial impact of the East Haddam Swing Bridge Project (0040-014).
The association is seeking to consolidate tangible data on three key factors: estimated increased expenses, loss of revenue and staffing concerns, according to a news release. The information is essential to provide a clear picture of the state’s political leaders about the project’s impact on local businesses and community, it said.
The information submitted to EHBA Executive Board will be held in strict confidence. The data will be compiled solely by this board, and a weekly basic summary will be submitted to the office of state Rep. and First Selectwoman Irene Haines, R-East Haddam.
