Middlesex County Historical Society to present Sicilian-American music

MIDDLETOWN — A free concert of Sicilian-American music, and a chance to see the St. Sebastian Feast exhibit will be held Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. at the Middlesex County Historical Society General Mansfield House, 151 Main St.

Sam Vinci and his band will play the songs of Melilli as guests peruse the “A Century of Devotion: The St. Sebastian Feast in Middletown, 1921-2021” show now on view.

People are invited to celebrate the music, history and springtime during Mother’s Day weekend, according to a news release. Light refreshmen­ts and cookies will be served.

The concert will be held in the historic gardens behind the Mansfield House. Attendees should enter through the gate in Spear Park at the corner of Main and William streets.
