Sherrie Lea (Paulson) Gage, 76, of Cromwell, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Middlesex Hospital. Born in Jamestown, New York, she was the daughter of the late Gerald Paulson and Virginia (Larrison) Ecklund.

Sherrie lived in Middletown since 1970 and was employed at Connecticu­t Valley Hospital for many years before retiring. Sherrie’s family was everything to her.

Sherrie is survived by her four daughters, Rebecca S. Gage of Hebron, Kristine R. Gage and her husband Brian Litterio of Hebron, Aimee L. Gage of Meriden and Michelle L. Gage-Diaz and her husband Bobby of Middletown; one son, Timothy E. Gage, CT; three brothers, John Ecklund of Lake View, NY, Doug Ecklund of Jamestown, NC and Randy Ecklund of Jamestown, NY; eleven grandchild­ren, Jaysen T. Paphong, Amber E. Fritz, Joseph Perez, Carlos Matthew Torres, Anthony GageSmith, Austin Diaz, Jordan Gage, Riley Litterio, Mariah Diaz, Jeovany Torres, and Angelyna Diaz; two great granddaugh­ters and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was predecease­d by her stepfather, Richard Ecklund.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 24th at 11:00 am at Doolittle Funeral Home, 14 Old Church Street, Middletown. Burial will follow in Indian Hill Cemetery, Middletown. Family and friends may call on Friday morning before the service from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
