Scott A. Morris, 52, husband of Lisa (Mazzotta) Morris of Middletown, CT, sadly passed away on February 16, 2023. He was born on November 19, 1970, in New Britain, CT, son of Eugene and Arlene (Gavalek) Morris. He was employed as a Systems Engineer by Northeast Computers. Besides his parents and wife, he is survived by two sons Dylan and Devin and his sister Tracy Morris of Middletown. He was also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Scott graduated from Berlin High School, class of 1988. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing soccer, skateboarding and snowboarding. His summers were spent with his family at the beach in Old Lyme.

Anyone that knew Scott, had the opportunity to enjoy his amazing cooking skills. He made it a point to be at the grocery store daily, so that he could buy fresh food for whatever delicious meal he was making. He was also a restaurant foodie that loved researching and finding amazing restaurants that he could enjoy with his wife and sons. His most recent hobby was taking a local sourdough bread making class and strived to make the perfect sourdough bread (which he did). Scott also loved making his Babci’s Polish recipes, in particular her meat sauce, golumki and pierogies. And they all came out amazing. He had a passion for music and attended many concerts throughout his lifetime, as everyone knew his favorite band was Rush.

He loved watching Jeopardy every night and was quite the trivia wiz! He loved drawing, we were amazed with his drawings, as he was a skilled artist. He was so proud of his boys and was great at helping them with their schoolwork and “assisting” with their amazing school projects.

His memory will always be in the hearts and minds of all his family and friends.

Please join us in celebrating Scott’s life on Sunday, March 26, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the D’Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main Street, Middletown, CT.
