OUTLOOK: This is pretty wide open. Guilford is the three-time defending champion, but Cheshire and Daniel
Hand each defeated the Grizzlies during the regular season and own the top two seeds. No. 1 Cheshire defeated No. 2 Hand in their meeting, while Amity, which took the fourth seed, is responsible for Cheshire’s lone league loss. The SCC championship has been a series of streaks for the past decadeplus, with Cheshire winning from 2011-14, Daniel Hand from 2015-18, and Guilford from 201922.

OUTLOOK: Old Saybrook and North Branford met four times last season, with Old Saybrook winning all four games by a combined total of seven goals, including a 14-12 victory in the Shoreline championship game. Close games have continued this season, with North Branford winning 14-12 in the opener, and Old Saybrook winning 14-13 in early May. They seem to be on a collision course for the SLC crown yet again.
