Games to watch Bethel at Newtown, Tuesday, 6 p.m.:

There will be a lot of talent on the field with 2022 GameTimeCT

First Team All-State pick Andreas Shaboo and one of GameTimeCT’s 25 Players to Watch in Connor Muir of Newtown on the field. Both strikers have talented casts around them.

Rockville at Cromwell, Wednesday, 3:45 p.m.:

Nice midweek crossover game which offers both teams a good test. Rockville is unbeaten but ventures out of the NCCC for a trip to the Shoreline to face a 3-1-1 Cromwell team which has only conceded three goals.

Greenwich at Staples, Thursday, 4 p.m.:

Neither team has lost and both are ranked in coaches top 10 poll with Greenwich currently holding the No. 1 spot and the Wreckers at No. 10. This game is annually one of the FCIAC’s most physical and hotly contested games.

Avon at Hall, Thursday, 6 p.m.:

The CCC is wide open at the top of the league with a bunch of talented teams and these two are firmly in the

mix. Hall dropped a surprising 4-0 loss to Simsbury but has not allowed a goal in its other four games. Avon has one of the hardest schedules in the state but this is the only meeting with Hall.

Cheshire at Xavier, Thursday, 7 p.m.:

SCC champion Xavier did not play Cheshire last regular season, but the two met in the CIAC Class L title game with Cheshire winning 3-1. They will meet twice this regular season. Xavier is now playing in Class LL in the CIAC playoffs, eliminating the chance for a state championship rematch.

Nonnewaug at Shepaug Valley, Saturday, 3 p.m.:

Shepaug has scored 27 goals, starting the season 7-0-0 while Nonnewaug is out to a 4-0-1 start. In a scheduling quirk, this game marks the first of seven-straight road games for Nonnewaug which opened the season with its first five games at home.
