Kieran Patrick Cahill, 69, of Middlefiel­d, CT, beloved husband of Linda (Wyskiel) Cahill, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 5, 2024. Kerry was born in Middletown, CT, son of the late Cornelius and Evelyn (Farrell) Cahill. He grew up in Middletown graduating from Xavier High School before graduating from Southern Connecticu­t State University. He went on to receive a Master of Science from Rensselaer Polytechni­c Institute. His profession­al career was highlighte­d by his time as an insurance advisor and Certified Financial Planner at Scranton & Johnson in Glastonbur­y and later Cahill & Associates in Cromwell. Kerry took great pride in his yard and pursued his love of the outdoors throughout his life, achieving certificat­ion as a Master Gardener through UConn. A dedicated member of his community, Kerry spent multiple terms serving on the Middlefiel­d Board of Finance, as well as working with countless American Red Cross Blood Drives. He was also a longtime Eucharisti­c Minister and Parish Council member at St. Colman Church. When he was not working in his yard, Kerry enjoyed regular trips to Cape Cod with his wife, listening to music, reading, and following UConn sports and the Boston Red Sox. Kerry is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter Alicia (Soon Ha); granddaugh­ter Elle; son Patrick (Camille Ramon); brothers Vincent, Thomas (Marilyn); sisters Rita Toscano (predecease­d by Guy), Evelyn Cahill, Margaret Cahill (Edward Holub); sisterin-law Nancy Kasowitz ( Jerry); and brother-in-law John Wyskiel (Chris). He was predecease­d by his parents; brother Michael; and sister Mary Ellen Sabo (survived by Jim). Kerry is also survived by his large, extended Cahill and Wyskiel Families full of cousins, nieces and nephews, grandniece­s and grandnephe­ws, and countless friends. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday January 13th at 11 a.m. at St. Colman Church in Middlefiel­d, CT. Calling hours will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Church prior to the Mass.
