Elijah Avery Turner, Hand, Soph.: Scored 28 points in the Tigers’ 72-44 win over Law-Milford.
Jhani Barge, Ansonia, Sr.:
Had 31 points and 15 rebounds in the Chargers’ 70-67 overtime win against Kennedy-Waterbury. Barge scored his 1,000th career point against Gilbert.
Morrison Beck, Wilcox Tech, Sr.: Made nine 3point shots and finished with a season-high 35 points in Wilcox Tech’s 7546 win over Wright Tech.
Jaylen Brown, Norwalk, Sr.: Scored 50 points, including the basket to send the game into overtime and 11 of 11 from the free-throw line, to help the Bears defeat Staples 78-71.
Jake Burns, Pomperaug-Southbury, Jr.: Scored a career-high 29 points in the Panthers’ 5948 victory over New Milford.
Josh Carlson, Tourtellotte, Jr.: Scored 34 points in a 66-60 loss to Norwich Tech.

Brady Lynch, East Hampton, Jr.: Scored 38 points in East Hampton’s 81-73 loss to CoginchaugDurham. Lynch is 11 points short of 1,000 for his career.
Jason Mahon, Enfield, Jr.:
Shot 8 of 9 from 3-point range to finish with 35 points in a 83-54 win over Hartford Public. Against Simsbury, Mahon tied the game on a 3-pointer, then scored the game winning basket with 5.6 seconds left to help Enfield prevail 4846.
Tate Mahoney, Fairfield Ludlowe, Sr.: Scored 28 points in jus three quarters in Ludlowe’s 63-36 victory over New Canaan.
Jakeel Martin, Windsor, Sr.: After being fouled attempting a 3-point shot with 0.3 seconds on the clock, Martin made all three free throws to help Windsor escape 77-76 against Newington. Martin finished with 15 points, eight assists and four rebounds.
Anthony McKeown, Hall, Jr.: Had 19 points and four assists in Hall’s 66-62 win over Conard.
Avery Mickens, Newington, Sr.: Scored 29 points in Newington’s lastsecond loss to Windsor, 7776.
Troy Miller, RHAM, Sr.:
Scored 21 points, including the 1,000th of his career, in a loss to No. 1 East CatholicManchester.
Rob Mineo, Oxford, Jr.:
Had career-highs in points (34) and rebounds (12) in
the Wolverines’ 80-54 loss to Seymour.
Khaden Moore, Naugatuck, Sr.: Scored 28 points in the Greyhounds’ 82-68 win against Oxford.

Scored 26 points, 13 in the fourth quarter, and added 17 rebounds and eight assists in the Crusaders’ 6854 win over WCA.
Cameron Perkins, Danbury, Sr.: Had 29 points in the Hatters’ 64-36 win over Westhill-Stamford and added 24 points and 11 rebounds in a 56-44 win over McMahon-Norwalk.

Marques Quintyn, Vinal Tech, Sr.: Scored 22 points in a 90-83 loss to Windham Tech.

GAMES TO WATCH
No. 9 Stamford at No. 4 Ridgefield, Tuesday, Jan. 23, 7 p.m.: Stamford is riding an eight-game winning streak into this top-10 showdown. Both teams’ one loss is to a ranked team, Stamford to No. 3 Kolbe Cathedral and Ridgefield to No. 7 St. Bernard-Uncasville.
Wilbur Cross vs. Hillhouse at Floyd Little Athletic Center, Tuesday, Jan. 23, 7 p.m.: Was a 1-point game last time around (55-54), won by Hillhouse, which is in the hunt for the top seed in the SCC tournament.
No. 2 Notre Dame-West Haven at West Haven, Tuesday, Jan. 23, 7 p.m.:
West Haven’s three losses are to Notre Dame, Hillhouse and Staples-Westport. West Haven was the last SCC team to beat Notre Dame, in the 2021 league tournament final. Notre Dame is trying to prep for another long stay in March. No. 7 St. Bernard at Fitch-Groton, Friday, Jan. 26, 7 p.m.: Quit possibly the last barrier standing between another undefeated season in the ECC for St. Bernard..
No. 4 Ridgefield at Fairfield Warde, Saturday, Jan. 27, 6 p.m.:
Count Fairfield Warde in among the FCIAC title contenders, even more if the Mustangs pull off the win here.
