Norm Zelones of Modesto, CA passed away peace­fully Fri­day evening af­ter a bat­tle with a virus of the lungs. Norm was born in Ni­a­gara Falls, New York, went to high school in Kwa­jalein, Mar­shall Is­lands and went on to grad­u­ate col­lege with Bach­e­lors de­gree in Busi­ness.

Norm’s brav­ery led him through the Viet­nam War and then into his ca­reer in the air­line in­dus­try where he was Vice Pres­i­dent of Cus­tomer Ser­vice at AirCal. He moved to Modesto and be­gan work­ing at E&J Gallo Win­ery. He re­tired in July 2017 as a leader in the Telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions and Net­work De­part­ment af­ter 37 won­der­ful years of ded­i­cated ser­vice.

The most im­por­tant things to Norm was fam­ily first, friends, his pup­pies, trav­el­ing, play­ing golf, coach­ing soc­cer and his cars.

Af­ter 22 amaz­ing years of mar­riage, he is sur­vived by his lov­ing wife, Karin Zelones, his four chil­dren: Matthew Zelones, Matthew Lusk, Tay­lor Lusk and Troy Zelones. Ser­vices are sched­uled for Satur­day Jan­uary 19th, 11:00 AM at The Gallo Cen­ter for the Arts.
