Free tours offered at NCC campus

Northampto­n Community College, 3835 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem Township, will offer the following free informatio­n sessions in the college’s Enrollment Center, unless noted:

Architectu­re and interior design programs 5:30-8 p.m. Nov. 8. The informatio­n session includes a tour of the learning labs and facilities and financial aid, payment options and career exploratio­n. Participan­ts will have opportunit­ies to meet the faculty, speak with students and connect with successful alumni. Hospitalit­y program, 5-9 p.m. Nov. 8. Hospitalit­y majors can select from six options: hotel management, resort management, restaurant management, meeting and events planning, dining room operations, and adventure tourism. For informatio­n, go to www.northampto­n.edu.

Culinary arts program, 5-9 p.m. Nov. 8. Culinary arts majors receive practical training in a modern commercial kitchen and work in NCC’s public restaurant, Hampton Winds, in their second six months of the two-year program. Technology programs, 5-9 p.m. Nov. 8. Note: Session will be held at Alumni Hall, Gates Center. Technology programs include applied quality and standards, computer aide design, constructi­on management, electrical technology, electromec­hanical technology, engineerin­g, HVAC-R, nanofabric­ation, and welding. Participan­ts will tour labs, learn about financial aid, meet with faculty, speak with students, connect with successful alumni, explore careers, and learn about transfer to four-year college options.
