The Allentown Symphony Orchestra presents “Veterans Tribute: 100th Anniversar­y of Armistice Day” at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10 and 3 p.m. Nov. 11 at Miller Symphony Hall, 23 N. Sixth St,. Allentown. The program celebrates American freedom through a commission­ed work inspired by the experience­s of soldiers in World Wars. Actor Daniel Roebuck narrates Copland’s “Lincoln Portrait” with excerpts from “The Gettysburg Address.” Daniel Rodriguez, the Singing Policeman, performs “America the Beautiful” and “God Bless America.”

Fountain Hill American Legion Post 406 will honor all veterans with the unveiling of a new permanent monument at the Stanley Avenue Memorial Plot at 1 p.m. Nov. 11. The guest speaker for the event will be Dr. Karen Dacey, a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom. 610-657-3114.
