Martha L. Wieder

Martha L. Wieder, 72, of Coopersburg, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018, at her residence.

She is the wife of Gene T. Wieder. Martha was born in Allentown on March 4, 1946, to Olga (Malast) of Allentown and the late Ernest Franklin Yerk. She worked as a compliance officer for Penn Treaty Insurance after raising her children. Martha is a member of Solomon's UCC - Macungie. She was an avid bowler, competing in over 25 national tournaments. She loved to travel, bake, cook for her family & was also a part-time florist.

SURVIVORS In addition to her husband of 53 years, sons: Timothy T. (Sandra L.) of Coopersburg and Bryon S. (Lauren C.) of Bethlehem; siblings: David Brady (Deborah) of Emmaus, Patricia Mengel of Allentown, Mary Ward (Edward) of Allentown, Anna Reinhard of Allentown, Joanne Mauser (James) of Zionsville, Judith Milander (Frederick) of Coplay, Kathleen Beck (Scott) of Coopersburg; grandchildren: Felicia, Andrew, Dean and Abigail; nieces & nephews. Martha is predeceased by a sister: Dawn Sauerwine.

SERVICE Private graveside services will be held at Solomon's Church Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at: www.heintzelmancares.com. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. – Hellertown.
