Favorite lines from Shakespeare?

-

On a half-sheet of paper in the Baker family scrapbook are three lines hand-written in beautiful cursive. They are from “Pericles, Prince of Tyre” by Shakespeare:

“If you were born to honor, show it now;

“If put upon you, make the judgment good

“That thought you worthy of it”

Were they a favorite sentiment of Elbert’s mother, or her son?
