Favorite lines from Shakespeare?
On a half-sheet of paper in the Baker family scrapbook are three lines hand-written in beautiful cursive. They are from “Pericles, Prince of Tyre” by Shakespeare:
“If you were born to honor, show it now;
“If put upon you, make the judgment good
“That thought you worthy of it”
Were they a favorite sentiment of Elbert’s mother, or her son?
