Merchants Bank among honorees of Multimunicipal Cooperation Award

Lehigh Valley Planning Commission held its fifth annual Lehigh Valley Awards ceremony in October and the Slate Belt Regional Branding project earned the Multimunicipal Cooperation Award honored the Slate Belt Regional Branding project. Slate Belt Regional Branding is part of the Slate Belt Rising project spearheaded by the Community Action Committee of the Lehigh Valley and includes revitalizing Portland’s business district and a branding strategy aimed at attracting visitors, businesses and homebuyers to the region.

The Slate Belt Branding Regional group honorees include Bangor, ESSA Bank & Trust, Greater Lehigh
