David James Hvizdos

-

It is with great sorrow that the Hvizdos families of Niskayuna, NY and Emmaus, PA announce the passing of our family member, David. David died unexpectedly in his home the morning of

Nov. 15th. He was 54. He leaves behind his wife Marilyn (Saks) of whom he was devoted to for 31 years and his children; Audrey (22), Janine (19), and Gregory (17). David lived for his children who he loved above all else.

David was a 1982 graduate of Emmaus High School and a 1986 Graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked at Knoll Atomic Power Lab in the Schenectady area of New York state, which was appropriate as that is the state of David's beloved New York Mets. He was a member of St. Pious Roman Catholic Church, Loudonville, NY.

We will forever remember David's quirky laugh and sense of humor, his delight in his children's many accomplishments, the way he honored his parents and his wife, his intelligence and quiet analytical way of living. We will remember him riding his bike through Emmaus and later Niskayuna, being an altar boy for St. Ann's Church, working at Chunnie's Mobil gas station, playing in the EHS band, enjoying bridge games with family and coworkers, camping and beach vacations with his family, studying and working hard to succeed and to provide a happy life for his family. These are just a few of the many memories we will keep in our hearts. In addition to his wife and children are parents,

Leonard and Barbara Hvizdos of Emmaus; sisters; Carolyn (Stephen) Wentzel, Kathryn (Anthony) Longo, Alyssa (Monte) DeFrances, Lorraine Douglass, Dianne Hvizdos, brother; Stephen Hvizdos and his fiancé Susanne. Additionally, 10 Nieces and Nephews with spouses and children of their own, Aunts and many cousins.

Services are private at the request of the family.

David, you left us too soon.
