Thelma E. Naugle, 93, a lifelong resident of Green

St., Allentown, until she moved to her daughter's home in 2017, passed away November 21, 2018, at the VNA Hospice of St. Luke's, L. Saucon Twp. She was the youngest of six children born to A. Milton and Mabel Estelle (Sames) Charles. Her brothers, Haydn, Albert, Robert, Randolph, and Theodore and their wives all preceded her in death. She was the widow of Thomas G. Naugle who passed away December 10, 1980. Thelma met “Tommie”, the love of her life, in 1943, shortly before he was drafted into the Army during World War II and was married August 17, 1946. She was small in stature but had a wonderful personalit­y and enjoyed life to the fullest with Tommie and traveled together across the U. S. She had a pet turtle, Smokey, who lived for 47 years. Thelma enjoyed roller skating in her younger days and loved to play cards and board games and would like only Budweiser beer. She loved her flowers in her yard and her flower bouquets in her home. Thelma was a member of St. James Evangelica­l Lutheran Church until it closed.

Survivors: son, Terry L. Naugle (Sharon); daughter, Andrea E. Naugle (Mark Speigel); granddaugh­ter, Tammy L. Krueger (Mark); grandson, Michael S. Naugle (Jill); great grandchild­ren, Matthew, Lauren, Julia, Dylan, Emily; great great grandchild­ren, Kylee, Olivia, Adam; many nieces and nephews.

Services: 11 AM Tuesday at STEPHENS FUNERAL

HOME, INC. 274 N. Krocks Rd. Call 10 AM until service time. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery, Coopersbur­g. (www.stephensfu­neral.com)
