Karen A. Jones

Karen A. Jones, 71, of Allentown, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 in St. Luke's University Hospital in Fountain Hill, surrounded by her family. She and her husband, John H. Jones, shared 48 years of marriage.

Born in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Ethel Anna (Lacey) Grube. Karen was a graduate of the Zion Bible Institute in East Providence, RI and received a BA in Christian Education from Central Bible College in Springfield, MO. She and her husband enjoyed serving as traveling evangelists for 3 years for the Assemblies of God. Karen worked as a reading teacher for the Central Assembly Christian Academy in Bethlehem and later for the PMA Insurance Company in Fogelsville before retiring in 2014.

Survivors: her loving husband, John; son, John D. Jones of Lehighton; daughter, Heather A. Bergan and her husband Kenneth of Nazareth; sister, Katherine E. Grube of New Ringgold; 3 grandchildren, Stella, Sevyn and Selah Jones.

Services: A memorial service will be held at 2

PM on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in the K.V.

Knopp Funeral Home, Inc., 46 E. Susquehanna Street, Allentown. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held from 1 PM until the time of the service.
