Saucon Valley settles civil rights suit

The Saucon Valley School board approved a $96,500 settlement in November in a civil rights lawsuit filed in 2017 by Kerry and Sheila MacLean, who alleged school officials didn’t do enough to address racial intimidation against their sons, who are African-American.

What’s next? The settlement also calls for Saucon Valley to continue its anti-bullying program and anti-bias training for the next three.
