LCCC sets fast-track registration

Lehigh Carbon Community College will offer fast-track registration events for new and returning students at the main campus, Schnecksville; the Donley Center in downtown Allentown; and the Morgan Center, Tamaqua.

LCCC Allentown, Donley Center, 718 W. Hamilton St., will offer events 1-5 p.m. Dec. 12 and Jan. 9. Continuing students can also schedule an individual appointment by calling 610-7991940. New students are encouraged to attend the fast-track event.

LCCC Tamaqua, Morgan Center, 234 High St., will offer events 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 11 and Jan. 8. Applicants from Tamaqua and Jim Thorpe can complete all registration steps in one visit. For information, call 570-668-6880.

LCCC Schnecksville, 4525 Education Park Drive, Student Services Center, will offer events 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 19, Jan 16 or walk-in 9 am. to 5 p.m. Jan. 14-18. For information, call 610-7991575.

New students for spring 2019 will be able to complete multiple registration steps in one day including placement testing, have their transcript reviewed, meet with an academic adviser, register for classes, complete their 2018-19 FAFSA or follow up on status of financial aid, and arrange for a tuition payment plan or pay spring semester tuition.

Representatives from Admissions, Financial Aid, Business Office, Registrar and Advising will be available. All testing must be completed by 5 p.m. in order to see an advisor the same day.

Tuition and fees are due at the time of registration or through a payment plan set up with the LCCC Business Office. Students can pay online or in person at the Business Office at the Schnecksville campus, as well as sites in Allentown, Tamaqua and Jim Thorpe.

Students interested in the registration event are encouraged but not required to sign up online by going to www.LCCC.edu/fast-track. Spring semester classes begin Jan. 18.
