Thankful for nurses
On Nov. 26, my wife, brother, sister and I went for breakfast at a diner in Fogelsville. In the foyer, my sister, Violet, fell face down on the marble floor and bled profusely.
Luckily two nurses were in the pay line and volunteered help. The nurses held towels to stall bleeding and turned her head so breathing was not labored.
Soon the paramedics arrived and prepared for transportation to the emergency room. Truly this was a blessing to have professional help nearby, and we’d like to thank everyone.
