Marvin E. “Barney” Hunsinger, 87, of Allentown, died Nov. 30, 2018 in St. Luke's Hospice House. He was the husband of Angeline A. (Fornato) Hunsinger. Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Elton M. and Arlene M. (Deis) Hunsinger. He honorably served his country in the Air Force for 7 years during the Korean Conflict, earning the Army Occupation – Berlin Airlift Device Service Medal, Medal of Humane Action, Korean Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the United Nations Service Medal. He worked at Mack Trucks for 34 years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of Greenleaf Lodge #561 F&AM. Marvin is survived by his wife of 62 years, Angeline; Son, Phillip M. Hunsinger of Allentown; Daughter, Debra A. Moyer of Barto; Brothers, Donald Hunsinger of Hazleton and Thomas Hunsinger of Drums; Grandchild­ren, Nicole Moyer, Eric Moyer, and Shania Hunsinger. He was predecease­d by Sisters, Dolores Flexer and Dorothy Hunsinger. Funeral Services will be held on Thurs., Dec. 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributi­ons may be made to Second Harvest Food Bank, 6969 Silver Crest Rd, Nazareth, PA 18064.
