Arlene R. Acerra, 96, of Al­len­town died peace­fully Tues­day, Novem­ber 27,

2018 at St. Luke's Hospi­tal, Al­len­town with fam­ily by her side. She was the wife of the late Do­minic (Jockey) Acerra. Born in Al­len­town, she was the daugh­ter of the late Wood­ward and Hilde­gard (Gilliard) Miller.

Arlene at­tended Al­len­town High School. She was a mem­ber of Our Lady Mount Carmel and of St. Fran­cis of As­sisi Churches both in Al­len­town, Pa. She worked at Son­dra Manufacturing un­til re­tir­ing. She was a de­voted wife, mother, and grand­mother. Arlene en­joyed play­ing pinochle and casino games, loved do­ing cross­words & read­ing the news­pa­per with her cof­fee, she also adored beau­ti­ful flow­ers and her time talking on the phone, es­pe­cially with her daugh­ter Judy, and any time she could spend with her fam­ily. The hap­pi­ness she felt, was the love she had for each and ev­ery one of her fam­ily mem­bers.

Sur­vivors: Arlene will be lov­ingly re­mem­bered by her daugh­ter Judith, wife of Ron­ald An­der­son of Bath, Pa; Sons, Michael Acerra, hus­band of Lori, and An­thony Acerra both of Al­len­town, Pa. She also leaves be­hind 9 grand­chil­dren, 15 great grand­chil­dren, and 12 great great grand­chil­dren. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her!

Ser­vices: 1:00 p.m. Sun­day De­cem­ber 9, 2018 at Ni­cos C. Elias Fu­neral Home, 1227 W. Hamil­ton St., Al­len­town. Call­ing hours 12-1 at the fu­neral home.
