Bernice M. Henk

M. Bernice Henk, 76, of Easton, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest.

Bernice was born in Buffalo, NY, a daughter of the late Thaddeus B. and Marion (Kosin) Pietrzak.

Bernice was married to Donald Henk, with whom she celebrated 53 years of marriage last October. She worked kitchen staff at the local school cafeteria wherever her children attended at the time, and later worked janitorial services at Easton Area School District.

Bernice was a member of Women's Auxiliary at the VFW Bangor #739.

In addition to her husband, Bernice is survived by her sons Michael S. Henk, Donald P. Henk, Christopher P. Henk, Jonathan A. Henk; a sister Alice McAnelly; grandchildren Damen, Samantha, Peter, Elliot, Alexis, Hazel, Sydney, Kaitlyn, Gavin, and Austin. She is preceded in death by a daughter Barbara A. Henk, who passed away November 4, 2018, and brothers Ronald Pietrzak, Thaddeus J. “Tadz” Pietrzak.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
