Georgette A. Egbert, 92, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 24, 2018, in Gaithersbu­rg, MD. She was the wife of the late Millard “Milt” Egbert, who died in 1999.

Born in Bethlehem, Georgette was the daughter of the late Stephen J. Mingora and the late Theresa (Biszek) Mingora Wright. She graduated from Liberty High School in 1944, and worked in the billing department at Bethlehem Steel Corp. She was a member of Central Moravian Church in Bethlehem, where she was a lay leader, active in Women's Fellowship, and one of the original “Peanut Makers”. She was also a member of the King's Sons and Daughters Associatio­n and a volunteer with the Ladies Aid Society of St. Luke's Hospital.

Survivors: daughter Denise Egbert Brown and her significan­t other Fred Goodman of Montgomery Village, MD; grandchild­ren Hallie Brown, Samantha Brown and her significan­t other Morry Alls, Mikaela and Ian Egbert, and her great-grandchild Luke Alls. Georgette was predecease­d by her son Gregory Egbert, and also by her stepfather Weston H. Wright.

Services: A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 19, in the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem, 18018, where friends may call from Noon until time of services.
