Doris M. Wagner, 92, of Port Charlotte, FL, died peacefully while sleeping on Sunday, Nov 18, 2018 at Consulate Nursing Home. Born Feb 6, 1926 in Allentown, PA. Doris was an amazing mother, wife & daughter, loving, giving, caring, sweet, good, gentle, kind & generous. She was a smart cookie, my favorite mom, baby steps, joy, proud, healthy from head to toe, trooper, Marge, Zippity Do Dah, Rosie The Riveter, a very special lady. Always said growing old was not for sissies. Always thanked Jesus for giving her strength and prayed for others. Enjoyed family reunions, friends, cooking, peas, organic carrots, mashed potatoes, Sam's chicken, coffee yogurt, pears, tuna sandwiches, snickerdoo­dles, papaya, clothes, gardening, playing cards, singers & swing music, taking photos, oil painting, hair dressing, going out for breakfast, McDonalds, Cracker Barrel, mall walking, dinner theater, owls, beach, pool, sunsets & flea markets. She had a wonderful life. She was loved by all, is sorely missed & will forever be cherished. She was preceded in death by her husband: George R. Wagner, son: Barry Wagner & survived by her 3 children: Sandy Demyan, Randy Wagner, Diane Dumas, 3 grandchild­ren: Keri Fascella, Sasha Demyan, Shaina Hardy, 7 greatgrand­children: Kaden, Gavin, Bella, Britain, Lillian, Logan, Amelia & sister: Nancy Lutz. Interment will be in Allentown, PA. Family plans Celebratio­n of Life reunion in spring. Donations to Lions Eye Institute.
