Marianne T. Hujcs

Marianne T. Hujcs, 58, of Bethlehem Township died Tuesday, December 18, 2018. Born August 10, 1960 she was the daughter of the late Nancy (Collins) and Louis Hujcs.

Marianne was a 1978 graduate of Freedom High School, 1982 graduate from West Chester University with a BSN and obtained her Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Utah. She started her career as a nurse at the Hospital of Latter-Day Saints in Salt Lake City and continued to move up into management positions over a 20 year career. Marianne returned home and worked for University of Pennsylvania Hospital as a clinical nurse specialist in the trauma unit. She later worked for Good Shepherd in Bethlehem as a nurse with brain trauma patients. Marianne was an avid reader and was very fond of the Harry Potter books.

She loved cooking and being outside, especially skiing when she could.

Marianne will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Steve Hujcs of Bethlehem Township, sisters, Jayne Deak, husband, John of Nazareth and Judy Strouse of Sunrise, FL, nephew, Kevin Deak of Nazareth, niece, Samantha Strouse of Sunrise, FL and a great nephew, CJ Lugo of Sunrise, FL.

A casual gathering will be held Thursday, December

27, 2018 at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 10 AM to 12 PM followed by a Service at 12 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marianne’s name to St. Luke’s Hospital Development Fund, continuing edu, in care of ICCU, 801 Ostrum St., Bethlehem, PA 18015
