Good Shepherd pulling out of Cedarbrook

Lehigh County will take operation of the 670-resident Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehabilitation at the end of February after Good Shepherd Rehabilitation decided not to renew the management contract it’s held since 2016. Through a spokeswoman, Good Shepherd said it would refocus on its “core business and partnerships as well as nourish our reputation as an international destination for recovery.”

What’s next? The county will resume day-to-day management at the end of February.
