Stella W. Ruch

Stella W. Ruch, 85, of Reading, passed away January 4, 2019, in Hershey Medical Center.

She was the beloved wife of Walter W. Ruch, with whom she celebrated 58 years of marriage.

Born in Whitehall, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary

(Hoffner) Wunderler.

Stella was a graduate of Whitehall High School and the Allentown School of Cosmetology.

She was a member of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Stella was employed by the Reading Housing Authority for over twenty years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Suzanne M., wife of Andrew R. Seidel,

Ephrata, and sister Hilda Steirer, Walnutport, PA., and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her 6 siblings, John Wunderler, Frank Wunderler, Alfred Wunderler, Herman Wunderler, Elsie Balliet, and Theresa Hesch.

Stella loved spending time with her family and her grand dog Rudy in addition to cooking and baking. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated

Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, Reading. Visitation will be held 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Margaret's Catholic School, 233 Spring St, Reading, PA 19601. Edward J.
