Reed, Bar­bara May went to be with the Lord on De­cem­ber 25th, 2018. Bar­bara was born in In­di­anapo­lis, In­di­ana and moved to Beth­le­hem,

PA in the late 60; s with her hus­band Harold to raise their 3 daugh­ters. Bar­bara com­pleted her un­der­grad­u­ate de­gree at Mo­ra­vian Col­lege and re­ceived her Mas­ters of Ed­u­ca­tion at Le­high Univer­sity. Bar­bara worked in Beth­le­hem as a read­ing spe­cial­ist for Northamp­ton County School Dis­trict. Bar­bara al­ways kept ac­tive through vol­un­teer work, and sev­eral or­ga­ni­za­tions she be­longed to such as Sil­ver Lin­ers, AAUW, and Tri-Delta. She and her fam­ily at­tended the First Pres­by­te­rian Church in Beth­le­hem, PA. In 1990 Bar­bara semi-re­tired and moved to Riverview, FL with her hus­band. In Flor­ida she con­tin­ued to work as a sub­sti­tute teacher, vol­un­teer at her church and in the com­mu­nity, travel and take cruises, work­out and run, and stay in­volved in the above or­ga­ni­za­tions. Bar­bara is sur­vived by her daugh­ters Lisa Bohn {Greg], Laura Reed, and Robyn Dyer {Jon], her sis­ter Deb­o­rah Smith, 5 grand­chil­dren, 1 great grand­child and nieces and neph­ews. She is pre­de­ceased by her hus­band, Harold Reed. A cel­e­bra­tion of Life cer­e­mony will be held on Satur­day Jan­uary 19, 2019 at 11am at St An­drews United Methodist Church in Bran­don, Flor­ida.
