Paulette A. Brown

Paulette A. Brown, 91, formerly living in Allentown at Episcopal House, passed away Friday, January 4,

2019 under the care of hospice in the Physicians Regional Hospital, Naples, FL. Born in Allentown,

PA, she was a daughter of the late Paul W. and Phyllis (Hladyn) Schattner. Paulette worked at

Curtis Publishing, Hayes Management, and in customer service for the former Atlantic Refinery, Philadelphia for 20 years before retiring in 1994. After retiring, she worked at Harris Brown, Inc. for 10 years. She loved to paint and square dance and later was active at the YMCA in Allentown with Silver Sneakers for many years. She had a close and loving relationships with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. For years, she was an avid letter writer who kept in touch and is fondly remembered by her many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was admired by her many friends for her generous and fun loving personality.

She leaves behind her Son: Harris R. Brown (Jr.) of Naples. FL; Daughter: Vinette M. Achtert and her husband Kenneth of Wallingford, PA; Grandchildren: Jennifer (Varghese), Stephanie (Chris), Doug, Christine and Harris III; Great-grandchildren: Zachary, Chris Jr, Hailey, Gavin, Damien, Isabelle, Felicia, and Harris IV; Sister: Valrey J. DeChristopher; sister-in-law: Elizabeth Ann Schattner; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Paulette was predeceased by a brother

Jan Schattner and a sister Justyne Cope.
