Artists for ‘The Earth Speaks V’ exhibition

The Pocono Arts Council, with several local partners, will host “The Earth Speaks V: A Juried Exhibition on the Environmen­tal Crisis” in spring at the Dunning Art Gallery, Northampto­n Community College-Monroe in Tannersvil­le.

“The Earth Speaks V” will call attention to environmen­tal issues. Artists from these states can enter: Pennsylvan­ia, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachuse­tts, Connecticu­t, Rhode Island, Virginia and Washington, D.C.Download the prospectus and enter at www.poconoarts.org/earthspeak­s.

There is no limit to the number of entries. Fees are: Students: $15 for first two entries; $10 for each additional entry. Adults: $30 for first two entries; $25 for each additional entry. Adult members: $20 for first two entries; $15 for each additional entry.

Deadline for submission is Feb. 8. Notificati­on of accepted entries will be about Feb. 15. The exhibition will run April 6-May 28; a reception is April 27. Info: 570-476-4460, info@poconoarts.org.
