Lehigh University names new head football coach

The Lehigh University Mountain Hawks on Tuesday named Tom Gilmore, a former defensive coordinato­r at Lehigh and the former head coach at Holy Cross, as its head football coach. Gilmore, 54, replaces Andy Coen, who led the program for 13 seasons before resigning Dec. 7 to address a diagnosis of early-onset Alzheimer’s.

What’s next? Gilmore will be the 29th football coach in Lehigh’s history.
