Christkind­lmarkt nominated as top holiday market

Bethlehem’s Christkind­lmarkt has been nominated as one of the top holiday markets in North America in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice competitio­n. Patrons can experience the Christmas event and all its holiday magic firsthand through December 22.

Establishe­d in 1993, Christkind­lmarkt is a one-of-a-kind holiday experience for the whole family that brings the spirit of Bethlehem, the Christmas City, alive with the season. The heart-warming holiday event features aisles of handmade works by the nation’s finest artisans — with thousands of unique gift ideas for family and friends as well as live Christmas music; an authentic German St. Nicholas; and European favorites like wursts and strudel.

Voting for the top holiday market was open through Dec. 2 at noon. an increase in the number of first-year students, as well as incoming transfer students.

Penn State’s overall enrollment remains strong, driven in part by growing graduate student enrollment­s and a 21% year-overyear increase in the number of students from underrepre­sented minority groups in Penn State’s entering undergradu­ate class, according to the Fact Book released by the university in November. the first to assist investors with maintainin­g their tenant-occupied buildings. Historical­ly, the Lehigh Valley’s urban communitie­s have focused all of their programs on homeowners­hip. Allentown remains committed to that goal.
