Christkindlmarkt nominated as top holiday market
Bethlehem’s Christkindlmarkt has been nominated as one of the top holiday markets in North America in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice competition. Patrons can experience the Christmas event and all its holiday magic firsthand through December 22.
Established in 1993, Christkindlmarkt is a one-of-a-kind holiday experience for the whole family that brings the spirit of Bethlehem, the Christmas City, alive with the season. The heart-warming holiday event features aisles of handmade works by the nation’s finest artisans — with thousands of unique gift ideas for family and friends as well as live Christmas music; an authentic German St. Nicholas; and European favorites like wursts and strudel.
Voting for the top holiday market was open through Dec. 2 at noon. an increase in the number of first-year students, as well as incoming transfer students.
Penn State’s overall enrollment remains strong, driven in part by growing graduate student enrollments and a 21% year-overyear increase in the number of students from underrepresented minority groups in Penn State’s entering undergraduate class, according to the Fact Book released by the university in November. the first to assist investors with maintaining their tenant-occupied buildings. Historically, the Lehigh Valley’s urban communities have focused all of their programs on homeownership. Allentown remains committed to that goal.
