Allentown house fire kills man, nephew

An Allentown man and his nephew died in a house fire Monday on the 700 block of North Fair Street. Heriberto Santiago, 44, and his nephew, Andres Ortiz, 14, died in the fire on the small side street. It was the first fatal fire this year in the city.

What’s next? Four others jumped from the home and were injured. Three firefighters also were injured. The cause of the fire was being investigated. About 200 people attended a vigil Tuesday evening.
