Groups face off outside City Hall

Two groups of protesters, one calling for police reform (Black Lives Matter) and the other supporting police (Back The Blue), held separate rallies Wednesday outside Allentown City Hall, at one point facing off against each other and chanting loudly at each other for about five minutes.

What’s next? Allentown City Council has been discussing police reform proposals. It will take the matter up again in mid-August.
