Electric bill help through LIHEAP
Federal assistance for PPL Electric Utilities customers to help with their electric bill is available.
The federal government’s Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program Recovery Crisis Program will run through Aug. 31, or until remaining funds are exhausted.
The government is working with companies like PPL to help customers who are struggling with their bills for electric, natural gas or oil.
Income guidelines are the same as the standard LIHEAP program, which traditionally opens in the fall.

This is a seminar designed to raise awareness about the dangers of alcohol consumption during any stage of pregnancy. At the end of this seminar participants will be able to define excessive consumption, alcohol content per drink type; recall the history of attitudes of alcohol use during pregnancy vs. current recommendation; and recall the implications of alcohol use during pregnancy.
and a certificate will be issued upon completion.
The cost of the course is $165 which includes range fee. Class size is limited and preregistration is required by calling 610-509-1569.
