Deadline extended for workplace award nominations
In the month since The Morning Call announced it was searching for the Lehigh Valley’s Top Workplaces, dozens of local organizations have been nominated by employees, CEOs and customers.
But there’s still time to add to that list.
The deadline for nominations is going to be extended a month, to Oct. 2.
Anyone can offer an employer — whether it’s public, private, nonprofit or government — for consideration. Simply go to themorningcall.com/ nominate or call 610-6280921.
The Morning Call’s partner, Philadelphiaarea research company Energage, will survey employers there, with the results to be revealed in the spring in the Top Workplaces magazine.
Anyone — including employees, CEOs or customers — can nominate a potential top workplace.
Nominations are open to employers in Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, Monroe and Berks counties with at least 35 employees. It doesn’t matter if the workplace is forprofit or nonprofit, privately owned, publicly held or a government agency.
Companies will be surveyed through October.
The top employers will be featured in the magazine, which will be delivered with The Morning Call, and recognized at a special event in the spring.
The 2020 winners were unveiled at SteelStacks in Bethlehem in front of more than 300 cheering members of the
Lehigh Valley business community.
Workplaces are evaluated by their employees using a confidential, 24question survey developed by Energage, which conducts Top Workplaces surveys with more than 50 media partners. Locally, the company surveyed more than 20,000 employees at 69 Lehigh Valley-area businesses, part of the millions of workers who respond nationwide.
There is no fee to participate, and there is no application process beyond being nominated. Every organization that takes part will receive confidential feedback about its workplace.
