New version dishonors original Mark Trail comic
Regarding a letter to the editor, “Comicstrip Mark Trail has gone off the rails” (The Morning Call, Oct. 30), I too have been reading the Mark Trail comic strips since 1958, when I was 12 years old. It was always enjoyable, and educational on many occasions.
This new version of Mark Trail is a true waste of space and a dishonor to the strip’s former authors. The Morning Call should discontinue it and fill the space with something that is at least similar and worthwhile to the former version of Mark Trail. It is no longer enjoyable or educational.
