Wild overtakes Scheller to win

The race to represent the Lehigh Valley in Congress remained undecided until Thursday night as mail-in ballots were counted. Republican challenger Lisa Scheller led Democratic incumbent Susan Wild in the race for the 7th Congressional District after in-person votes were counted, but Wild steadily overtook Scheller as the postal ballots were counted.

What’s next? Wild won a second term as the first womanto represent the region in Congress.
