Southern Lehigh teachers call in sick

About a third of Southern Lehigh

High School teachers called out sick Monday and Tuesday, leaving students without substitute teachers and sitting in the cafeteria for hours.

Neither administrators nor the union could explain the absences.

What’s next: Some parents in the district speculated the unplanned sick-out was related to an unofficial homecoming dance held by students.
