Somemorego­odnewsfor Quakertown’s retail scene: Fitness Exchange, selling newand preowned home and commercial fitness equipment including home gyms,

treadmills, rowers and more, will open a third location at the end of November at 122 S. West End Blvd., according to a news release.

The business, which also offers physical therapy and rehabilita­tion equipment, was started in 1997 and has other locations in Emmaus and Conshohock­en, Montgom

ery County.

Lastly, Quakertown Farmers Market, known to locals as “Q-Mart,” over the past

few months welcomed four new vendors with another shop set to open in December

New merchants of the Richland Township retail hub include: Hillbilly Hooch, featuring more than 30 flavors of moonshine; Artesania, featuring a variety of Ecuadorian clothing, jewelry, gifts and more; Expert Janitorial and Vacuum, offering name brand vacuums and accessorie­s, cleaning supplies and vacuum repair and maintenanc­e; and Lynn’s Hair & Beauty Supplies, specializi­ng in hair braiding, weaves and wigs and hair and skin care.
